What are good, affordable wet cat foods better than Fancy Feast?

I uaed to give fancy feast to my cat but I heard it's not actually very healthy, so what are som good and not too expensive wet food brands?

I really like Hill's Science Diet, Iams (very inexpensive), or Purina for better options that are much better than Fancy Feast.
It is good that you want to go with a wet food, since cats are not big water drinkers. This will help promote good kidney and urinary bladder health.
You can also mix in the wet food with dry to help stretch out the wet food and make it even more affordable!
IF you are going to transition her to the new food, please make sure to do this over the course of a week to help avoid an upset stomach. Here is a website link on how to do this successfully!

Luna should eat about 180 kcals per day. This is about 1/2 cup of the Royal Canin fiber that you are feeding. Fancy feast ranges from about 70-90 kcal per can.

Therefore, if you’d like to add wet food to the diet, I’d recommend taking out some of the dey food to avoid weight gain. Consider 1/4 cup Royal Canin for breakfast and for dinner HALF of the 1/4 cup scoop (so an eighth cup) plus half can of the fancy feast. That should be about right for her.

Always remember to add new foods slowly and in very small amounts to avoid digestive upset. Best wishes to you and Luna!

Both dry and wet diets are equally good in general especially for younger cats. Usually dry food is high in carbs, and wet (canned ) food for cats is low carb. Best commercial wet foods for cats in my opinion are Fancy Feast, and foods from companies such as Hill's Science diet, or Royal Canine. Friskies appears to be good also.
