If a female, egg binding should be considered. Clumped stool in either sex could be due to liver, renal, intestinal and or infectious diseases. A veterinary visit is recommend to assist in a diagnostic/treatment plan. Providing supplemental heat in the 80-85 F range will give some comfort but is not a treatment. Good luck.

Hi and thank you for your question, The pics are not the clearest, but it is probably the infraorbital sinus on either side. The nodules are most likely due to sinusitis. This will need veterinary treatment (likely antibiotics). Regards

A veterinary visit is recommended the sooner the better, as this can develop into something serious quickly. Monitor appetite and water intake. Hello! I am sorry Sky had a problem passing her egg. In the photo it looks very possible that she has a prolapse and should see a vet. If left untreated a prolapse can dry out, bleed, and become infected. It can also make her unable to pass another egg. It can be normal for a bird to bleed with passing stool a couple times after laying but this far out is abnormal. Hi. I'm sorry Paco isn't feeling well. Hiding their beak in thier feathers and sleeping a lot is definitely a sign of a sick bird. Because birds are prey species they often hide signs of illness for a long time before it's noticeable. Make sure Paco is in a warm, quiet, draft free area so as not to stress him more. I would find an avian veterinarian to take him to immediately. If he's swollen he may have fluid buildup, a tumor or other internal disease going on. Sick, stressed birds can die very easily unfortunately so be as gentle and stress free with handling and transport as possible. Until you get him seen, keep him in a warm quiet location and try to tempt him to eat- either his regular diet or pieces of rice or pasta, fresh fruit or veggies. Good luck to you and Paco.

It sounds like your bird may have bumblefoot, or an infection of the foot which can cause oozing of debris, pus, blood, etc. Other possible causes can include a sprain or break to the foot. If you see a visible wound, you can try soaking the foot in epsom salts and then using an antiseptic like blu-kote, however if it is badly infected or broken this is something that needs to be seen by a veterinarian immediately as severe infections can make a bird ill very quickly and potentially lead to death. Until you can get to your vet, keeping Sunapana warm and in a hospital cage without perches and with food and water dishes that are easy to is best.

Hello. So sorry to hear that your parrot is having this issue. I strongly suggest you get her to an avian veterinarian for an examination. It sounds like she is having some issues seeing - she may be going blind. You need to have her vision checked with a vet this is competent with working on birds.
