If Katrin is egg bound she will likely be unable to pass the egg on her own. In most cases, this requires veterinary care as incorrectly trying to remove the egg can cause it to break inside the vent which can lead to infection. If you're already feeding her a proper diet, soaking her bottom in warm water, or using a little olive oil around her vent may help to pass the egg gently without breaking it.

Egg binding for 9 days would be very serious. Veterinary attention is extremely important and a visit needs to be examined as soon as possible. The cloaca should contract, just try and keep the tissue clean and ensure she is able defecate and urinate. If tissue is exposed, clean with a warm moistened towel and lubricate with petroleum jelly. A veterinary visit is recommended as sutures might be necessary. Antibiotics, pain medications and hormones might also be recommended. Remove all nesting material and alter photoperiod to dissuade additional egg laying. Check and correct diet as calcium and other nutritional deficiencies can play a part in egg binding. Heat support in the 80-85 F range is also recommended. Good luck.

That does look concerning and should be checked out by a vet. Bulging of the stomach or near the vent could be any number of things including fatty deposits, growths or tumors, infections, or even an egg that is stuck and unable to pass. If she seems in distress, seeking veterinary care ASAP is best. Keeping her warm, eating, and drinking may help, however having it looked at is needed.

If the behavior continues beyond the next day or so, & it is accompanied by any lethargy or loss of appetite, she may also be in some distress if she has become egg bound.
