Why is my Quaker parrot rubbing eyes, losing feathers, and flying poorly?

There are certain bacterial and fungal infections that can cause this as well. I noticed that your parakeet also has a cagemate - is it possible that the other bird is over-preening this bird? The only way to determine the cause of the issue is to visit your veterinarian - preferably, a vet that is comfortable treating birds, or a bird-specific vet. The vet will likely take feather and skin samples from your bird and look at them under the microscope to try to determine the cause. There isn't much that you can safely do at home to treat mites, bacteria, or fungi, so visiting your vet is the best way to get your bird the treatment he needs. Best of luck!

Morgy does look in pretty bad shape! I would recommend seeking care from a local vet ASAP as he looks like he doesn't feel very great, and his feathers look very wet and dull. This cold be caused by any number of things including poor nutrition, parasites, illness, infections, etc, so it's important to see a vet in person so they can examine him, find the cause, and start on treatment. If he's housed with any other birds, it is smart to move him to a separate hospital cage that is kept warm, quiet, and with easy access to food and water so that he can relax some until you can get into your vet.

I would separate the birds for a few days with the heat lamp just so your healthier bird doesn't overpreen or stress out your other bird further. It is also a good idea to seek veterinary care in person ASAP to make sure she doesn't have any lasting injuries from the fly paper, stress, or anything used on her feathers, especially since she is showing so many general signs of illness.

Olive is definitely ill, but i couldn't tell you what is wrong based on these very general symptoms, you will need to take her to an avian vet where a blood test and faecal exam will be done to determine what is the cause of the disease before it can be treated.

That is likely to be due to a mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or infection. First of all, you should seek an appointment with an experienced avian veterinarian. Nutritional deficiencies (calcium, protein, vitamin A, etc.) are only one of the possibilities. Diseases that affect the kidneys or liver, affect how the body assimilated proteins, and therefore feather growth. Quivering and shaking could be signs of being cold, but also tremors such as mild seizures. Once, again, you would do best by seeing an avian veterinarian as soon as possible. Good luck.

Hello. It appears your question got cut off so please consider reposting it. I will say though, based on what you wrote, that Snow White may certainly be sick. If there was no veterinary exam, fecal, or blood work done beforehand, then there’s no guarantee that the birds you acquired weren’t harboring some disease that may only show itself in times of stress (like entering a new aviary, reproduction, etc). Since you already have many birds, their health is potentially at risk and I would recommend having a veterinarian evaluate the new birds. At minimum a physical exam and fecal should be done, but consider Chlamydia screening, blood work, fecal gram stain. Other infectious disease tests can be done but your vet can recommend what they feel is indicated. Good luck!
