My quail's eye is closed and has white discharge. Is it an infection?

Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female | 1 year and 1 month old

I have a quail I dont know her one eye is closed most of the type and doesnt look good. But when ahe opens her eye she has something white in her eyes in a great amount. I cant figure out which kinda infection is this or which ointment should I apply

Do not apply any medication in her eye without having her examined by a veterinarian first to diagnose infection or injury. It is possible to do more damage than good if you apply the wrong medication. Once she has been seen by the vet, the proper medication can be dispensed or prescribed.
