Is it safe for my conure to eat grass in my chemical-free yard?

I think it is safe for Twitch to play in your back yard on artificial grass if you are supervising. The shorter the artificial grass the less likely it is that he will be interested in chewing it. Great job getting your bunny the exercise he needs!

Finches and budgies can eat a commercially available seed or pelleted diet (found in most pet stores or on the internet). Hello. Bun Bun should have access to both dry hay and fresh grass. While rabbits like to chew on fresh grass they also should eat dry hay to regulate and stimulate their gastro-intetinal tract. Please, remeber to offer vegetables, like cucmber, lettuce or small amount of carrot. You can add also a piece of apple from time to time. Be careful with other 'weeds' as some plants may cause gastro-intestinal problems in rabbits.

Hello. In general, once the spray has dried, it should be safe to let your pet back into the garden. I would, however, try to limit any ingestion of the treated grasses. Hello. Small amounts of fresh grass are acceptable as a treat. Most of the greens fed should be your timothy or oat hays as these are actually more nutritious than grass ( which is mostly water & sugars ). Technically yes you can but you would have to let the grass grow longer that unusual and then cut it by hand as a lawn mower mushes the grass up too much which can cause issues in the gut. After cut by hand you need to leave the grass lying out for a few days to dry in the sun and it will be necessary to turn it a few times. It could certainly be done but would take a lot of effort.

Rawhide has been and is used in some toys. Most birds (mine included) ignore it. It can be chewed, but monitor to make sure Maxcine doesn't ingest large bits. I wouldn't recommend rawhide from the local butcher.
