My rabbit wants to play outside. Is artificial grass safe for him?

For the most part, traditional lawn fertilizers (that typically contain nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) are only toxic if large volumes are ingested. If you use a liquid fertilizer or it rains after you apply granules you should wait until the grass is dry before allowing the rabbits to have access. If you simply apply granules it's unlikely that they would be able to ingest enough to cause an issue. You can certainly also look for a product that is labeled to be safe for pets.

Please, remeber to offer vegetables, like cucmber, lettuce or small amount of carrot. You can add also a piece of apple from time to time. Be careful with other 'weeds' as some plants may cause gastro-intestinal problems in rabbits.

Just ensure you can easily remove the grass and clean the crate easily.
