Is it okay for my guinea pig to eat fresh grass from the yard?

The ideal hay for guinea pigs is a grass hay such as timothy or orchard grass hay. Guinea pigs cannot have clover hay or alfalfa hay as their main diet. You may need to ask the farmers what kind of hay this is to determine if it is the appropriate type of hay for your guinea pig!

Hello. It is not cruel to keep a rabbit indoors if you supply a good environment, proper diet, & plenty of activities & stimulation. You can take her outdoors for short periods & only allow her to graze grass that is clean & never sprayed with fertilizers or herbicides. Hello. Bun Bun should have access to both dry hay and fresh grass. While rabbits like to chew on fresh grass they also should eat dry hay to regulate and stimulate their gastro-intetinal tract. Please, remeber to offer vegetables, like cucmber, lettuce or small amount of carrot. You can add also a piece of apple from time to time. Be careful with other 'weeds' as some plants may cause gastro-intestinal problems in rabbits.
