If only a small amount of either was ingested, you may see vomiting, diarrhea and drooling. Treatment is largely supportive. Activated charcoal can be given if necessary. Offer small frequent meals and keep them hydrated. You can use ReSorb or unflavored PediaLyte as a drench.
Larger amounts may cause more serious symptoms, such as weakness, paralysis, low heart rate or abnormal heart rhythms. These symptoms should be addressed by your veterinarian.
