You are correct that grain-free diets have shown a link to heart disease, especially in Goldens. We recommend switching them to a non grain free food. You can try Science Diet, Eukanuba, Iams, Purina, Nutro, Royal Canin, etc. If you are concerned about your Golden you can have a taurine level checked at your veterinarian to see if their taurine level is low. If it is they are currently recommending ultrasounds of their hearts to make sure their hearts are ok. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.
