FreshPet makes a meat pate for cats & dogs. Is it dangerous folr cats to eat the Dog Pate?
Can a hyperthyroidism cat have pumpkin purree? i think she got into the dogs food, and has an upset tummy and i heard pumpkin purree is good for upset stomachs. but i’m not sure with her thyroid. she usually eats the science diet y/d thyroid cat food.
My puppies are 4 months and 2.5 months old. Can they start to eat sweet potatoes, ample and pumpkin? Recently they only eat dry dog foods. Thanks.
My cat is experiencing constipation. I’ve tried some pumpkin “soup” with chicken that I found at the pet store but doesn’t seem to be helping. I also have tried laxotone. Are there any other suggestions to try?
I have a 3 year old male Yorkipoo and a 3 year old female mini aussie. They had loose stool so I started feeding them pumpkin chicken and rice and it really helped. i noticed that their fur stated looking better and their breath smells better and they no longer have a bad body order. I have decided to start feeding them home cooked meals of chicken rice vegetables and beans. is this safe? What else should I put in the food to ensure that they are getting all their nutritional needs
Kyro is half Pit and half Labrador, 82 pounds and he will be three in July. What's good human food to add to his dry food besides yams, Pureed Pumpkin and Frozen peas? What do you suggest?
Hello! This is Punkin, we recently took him into our home after trying to find his owners for 2 weeks. I’m assuming he’s around 7-8 months old. What’s the “best” food for cats? Or what ingredients should I look for/avoid when buying cat food? Thank you!
I think I gave my 98lb great Dane/lab mix dog too much pumpkin. She had been having diarrhea for a day with her normal kibble so I switched to canned raw pumpkin and super lean ground turkey for a bland diet. I mixed them about 50/50...I started yesterday and she's had 3 servings, equalling about 1.5 cans of canned pumpkin and 1.5lbs of turkey. DID I GIVE HER TOO MUCH PUMPKIN???? IS SHE GOING TO BE OK??? She seems fine, lively, normal, but now I'm freaking out that I gave her too much??
Gave our puppy about 1.5-2 tablespoons of pumpkin with her dinner about 2 days ago. She’s had diarrhea ever since. Semi-formed stool this AM, so it appears to be getting better. Did the pumpkin cause this? Should I do anything besides let it run its course?
Hi, I was just wondering if its ok to give my dog some pumpkin that is for dogs while also giving her proviable paste in the same bowl at the same time for an upset stomach and to help with diarrhea? Thank you.
My dogs broke into the treats and ate several small bags of treats. The adult dog (50lbs) has vomited twice (partially digested treats) and seems to in some discomfort. The puppy seems fine. Both have been drinking at a higher than normal rate and amount. Suggestions? Should I make the adult dog vomit the remainder? Should I make the puppy vomit?
My GS mix 2+yrs old has issues expressing her glands. We feed Taste of the Wild. Fed twice/day. When she was a puppy we added pumpkin to firm up her poo and it helped, about a Tbsp give or take. In last 6 months she has been having issues w/anal glands & we have taken her twice for expression at vet & I think she is needing it again. We give baby carrots, 2-3 daily as treats. I want to resolve this vs buying something to add to her food, any suggestions? Is she getting too much fiber?
