Can my indoor rabbit eat grass outside? Is keeping her inside cruel?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Chinchilla | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 1 day old | 5 lbs

I have a standard 4month chinchilla rabbit. She's only been in the house since I adopted her. Can I take her outside to eat grass. Is it cruel to keep her inside

Hello. It is not cruel to keep a rabbit indoors if you supply a good environment, proper diet, & plenty of activities & stimulation. You can take her outdoors for short periods & only allow her to graze grass that is clean & never sprayed with fertilizers or herbicides.
