How long can mice stay in carriers, and can they be potty trained?

How long can mice be in carriers if they can’t exercise that well but they have food and water? Also, can mice be potty trained? that would be very helpful

The carrier is just meant for transport but they could stay in there for 6 hours or so. The cage is where these guys should live. Make sure they have a small wheel to run in (as mice LOVE these) and you can purchase one of the clear plastic balls that they can run in on the ground.
Mice can't really be house broken unfortunately. At least clean up is small. Please post again if you have any further questions!
