My male rabbit is grieving. What gender companion rabbit is best?

Hello i had pair of rabbitz(male and frmale) bt female died some days back since then male rabbiy looks depressed.. As it is aleays said that rabbit should b kept in pair.. Am looking to get another rabbit for his company.. Should i bring female or male rabbit?

I am sorry to hear about your female. In general, it doesn't matter too much as long as you are planning on getting them spayed and neutered, and as long as they are about the same size. I would agree that rabbits definitely do better in pairs. If you do not intend on getting them spayed / neutered, I would not have two adult in tact males together due to the largest chance of fighting. Also, if you have an intact male and female together, I don't think I need to tell you what the result will be ultimately!
