My hamster has an abscess. Is Amoxil safe to give him for treatment?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | 6 months and 9 days old | 250 lbs

hello . can i treat the abscess in my hamster by giving him a little of amoxil 125mg every day for 7 days .

Absolutely not, Hamsters do not tolerate this antibiotics. if it is an abscess it needs to be lanced under anesthesia and then cleaned and washed, then a different antibiotic (baytril) should be given for 2-3 weeks.
