Firstly, you should prevent him from drinking or licking up any more urine. A small amount will likely not harm him, but larger amounts may cause gastrointestinal upset (vomiting and diarrhea). Keep a bowl or bottle of fresh, clean water available to him at all times.
If he becomes lethargic, stops eating or begins to vomit or have diarrhea then he should be examined by your veterinarian.

My ferret is peeing less after adrenal implant. Should I worry?

I would recommend checking a urine sample to make sure there is not an infection present. It is possible the adrenal disease has caused him to drink and pee more so now that he is peeing less it seems abnormal. however anytime you have adrenal disease it is important to watch for UTIs. hope that helps

You can try to remove the litter from your ferret's cage and keep him on newspaper for the time being. If the behavior does not improve, a veterinarian that specializes in exotic animals could test your ferret's blood to see if there is any medical reason that is causing him to eat his litter.
