Infection and inflammation of the skin around the vulva in female rabbits can be fairly common. So far, you did the right thing by gently cleansing the area. Your veterinarian will likely need to clip and clean the area of inflammed skin and will probably prescribe some antibiotics and possibly a topical ointment to help the skin heal. Thanks for reaching out. They are probably vying for dominance and might have had a fight, where the vulva could have been bitten. Rabbits are induced ovulators, and need to be spayed to prevent uterine cancer, which is very common. They need to be kept separate, and spayed. Good luck.

It may be inflammation and/or infection due to urine scalding. Ideally, he should be examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating rabbits for diagnosis and treatment. You can use plain, unscented baby wipes or pet wipes to gently clean his abdominal area. Do not bathe him as it can be stressful and may complicate any underlying condition. Red color could come from the urine but it could also come from the reproductive system. unspayed rabbit can develop uterine cancer and bleeding is not uncommon. you probably need to take her to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked.

Sorry to see what's going on with Ebony. If at all possible, I would say that you should have Ebony examined by a veterinarian. They should be able to shave some of the hair around the affected area to get a very good look at what exactly is happening, and to what extent the affected area is afflicted. Unspayed female rabbits are much more prone to the outer and inner portions of their genitals having disease processes. It isn't normal at all and is probably a sign of a severe gastrointestinal infection, unless you are mistaking and it's actually coming from the urinary tract, in that case it could be a urinary infection. either way it needs to be treated urgently, you need to take her to the vet ASAP in order to get it treated.
