My chipmunk is weird, biting, and vomited. Is he sick or playing?

Hello, I would recommend taking Chip into a veterinarian as soon as possible. Dull behavior, weight loss, and vomiting are signs of serious disease. I worry that cancer or organ failure is possible. Small animals will also become dehydrated more quickly, and this can make the disease worse. Your vet can guide you best once they have performed a physical exam. If he's only moving this mouth like this when you interact with him, it may be his way of showing he's enjoying the interaction. I'd be concerned about that if it was all the time. Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If the bite appear to be deep, or do you suspect any fracture of her foot, pain could potential he cause vomiting. However unless extremely painful I would not suspect a bite to the foot is related to vomiting. Unless your dog was a bit rough with Cheese and may have caused other injury. If she has any other episodes of vomiting, acts painful or if the bite did cause bleeding or significant swelling/lameness then I recommend taking her to an emergency vet now. In the meantime monitor her closely- if no other abnormal signs and she eats and drinks normal then I would separate them to prevent any further injury.
