My baby squirrel has green poop. Is it sick from the milk I'm feeding?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Got a few days old baby squirrel. Ive been feeding him normal milk. So the concern is that the poop color is green. Is that any symptom of any disease or so ?

Thanks for reaching out about your new squirrel. Green diarrhea is often a clinical sign of liver disease or mal-absorption problem. Cow's milk is not appropriate for rodents but not much else commercially available. If there a wildlife-rehabilitation society locally that can give some assistance? They might have an appropriate milk replacer.
Good luck.
