Why does my Yorkie have nose and breathing issues after walks?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 4 years old | 6 lbs

Hi, When we walk around with my yorkshire (even if it is in bag) at any season (summer/winter), same night my yorky has nose problem. It tries to blow air from its nose and it can not sleep. It continues on some voices from its nasal passage or mouth , I am not sure but same hiccup voices. This problem may heal at home within a few days ofcourse we dont go out. I know that walking is good for healt of dogs. But in this case my dog suffers from nose. WHAT MAY BE PROBLEM, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Unfortunately, without an exam it would be hard to say what is going on with Yusi. Issues such as allergies to something in the environment such as pollen, upper respiratory infections, issues with the nose, throat, or lungs, and other underlying health issues can all be possible causes. If this has happened more than once, is ongoing, or Yusi seems very ill or in distress, it is a good idea to schedule a veterinary checkup to rule out any health issues and get any symptoms treated.

The most common reason for nasal congestion, sneezing and reverse sneezing are: allergies, upper respiratory tract infections, or foreign material above the soft palpate. I usually put animals with these symptoms on an antihistamine and an antibiotic. Most of the time that resolves the issue in an otherwise healthy young dog. I would take him to the Vet since it has been going on for several weeks. Good luck!

Poor pup! Without being able to examine him in person and listen to his breathing, it's hard to say whether he just got choked on some water in the shower, or if this is something more serious. Breathing issues can be a life-threatening emergency in many cases, so the best advice I can give is to take him to your nearest emergency clinic right away to be assessed. The veterinarian there should be able to give you a better idea of what's going on, and see what kind of treatment is needed.

This reverse sneezing can be caused by irritation or inflammation of the nasal passages. It can be a way for a dog to remove foreign particles such as dust, irritants, or allergens from the upper airways. It can also be caused by excitement. I would have Ace seen by a vet for this since it has been occurring more frequently lately. He may benefit from some antihistamines, which the vet can prescribe.

Why is my Yorkie panting and barking with a congested throat sound?

That could be an early stage sign of tracheal collapse, or there may be a inflammation of the trachea or first airways (throat). Tracheal collapse is quite common in yorkies and is usually diagnosed by performing a radiographic evaluation of neck and chest. I would recommend a check up as if otherwise the signs are due to an inflammatory disease, anti-inflammatory and possibly antibiotics are required. Why does my Yorkie struggle to breathe when lying down with a mass?

Tanno needs to be examined by the veterinarian. A fatty mass is not expected to cause problems breathing. It could be coincidental. Problems breathing can be related to heart disease or lung disease. If Tanno is currently struggling to breath, this could indicate an emergency and he should be examined quickly. A physical exam will help to narrow down the causes. I hope this helps.
