If your dog has been appropriately vaccinated by your veterinarian there should be very little chance that he will be affected by the parvovirus. If your dog does become ill most vaccine companies will cover the cost of treatment of records of appropriate vaccinations can be provided.
Keep a close eye on Max over the next 5-7 days. If there is any signs of lethargy, inappetance (even if it is one meal) or vomiting or diarrhea, take him to be. He led by your veterinarian immediately. Prompt starting of treatment has a positive outcome on survival.
Max should be fine and there should be nothing to worry about. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
