Can unneutered male Golden Retriever and GSD puppies get along?

They should be fine together, of course it is highly recommended to have them both neutered to avoid any aggressive tendencies, you should also introduce the puppy under your supervision only for a long time until you are sure your dog can be trusted.

With any two dogs, it's never possible to completely predict whether or not they will get along - they all have different personalities, just like people. But in my experience, I have not found GSDs to have any more problems with multiple dogs in a household than any other breed - indeed, I have several clients with multiple GSDs who all get along fine. I'm so glad you and Bruno have a strong bond! I don't think it's a definite that he and another dog will fight when the puppy grows up. However, I would recommend that you introduce them carefully and slowly, and always monitor their interactions until you are certain that Bruno isn't going to play too rough with the puppy. In addition, I would consider having Bruno neutered, as testosterone increases aggressive tendencies and can certainly contribute to dog-on-dog aggression in some cases.

Hello. With any dog type you have the risk of them fighting. Spitz are more likely to fight. Labs less likely, however another GSD will be fine. The best way to make them not fight is to get them both neutered or spayed. The earlier you get Bruno neutered the less likely he will be to fight with a new puppy. Good luck with them!

If she gets along with other dogs then I think an adult dog would be fine. But if she is a threatened by bigger dogs she may do better starting with a puppy. I would allow them to sniff esch other through a barrier like a crate or a baby gate. I would only allow them to be with each other under supervision for awhile until you know that they will be okay together. I would not feed them, give them any bones, or any any toys that she may be territorial over! Most dogs do great! Good luck!
