Is it safe to trim my puppy's nails at home, or should a vet do it?

Can I trim my puppies nails or am I best letting a vet do it

That depends on you and Dexter! Basically you want to remove the hook of the nail. Describing nail trims is very difficult and I recommend you be shown by your veterinarian. You can also find videos on YouTube but once again, being shown is probably easiest. Just ask your vet next time you are in the office.
