First Vetco appointment? How to transfer my pet's vet records?

Is my first time using Vetco. Should I transfer records from previous vet?

Yes this is very important when transferring doctors. Your vet can either print the records for you to pick up or they can email them to your new clinic. Just ask the vetco you will be using which they prefer. That way the new doctor will know what to recommend for your pet at the visit.     It's best to bring the medical records, because it will take a fair amount of time to get the records transferred at the time of the appointment.

    One thing to do when requesting the medical records, is to ensure that they are not just giving you an invoice. The invoice will just list the services provided and will be of limited value. The medical records will have all the doctor's notes and be signed by the veterinarian.
