How do I get my pet's vaccination records from their veterinarian?

We're trying to get involved in Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach as many veterinarians as we can, but we still have a long way to go. So, if you can't find your vet, we recommend you contact the clinic directly by phone or stop in to make an appointment or to request your pet's medical records.

Hello! I am sorry to hear that, but don't worry- the hospital where your dog went will have the records if they are in the past few years! If you went to a vaccination clinic at Petco you can call (877) 738-6742 and they will direct you! I hope this is helpful!

Yes this is very important when transferring doctors. Your vet can either print the records for you to pick up or they can email them to your new clinic. Just ask the vetco you will be using which they prefer. That way the new doctor will know what to recommend for your pet at the visit. How lovely of you to take in Belle! This site is affiliated with Petco, but we are here for answering questions about pet health. If you want her shot records, you will need to have your friend call the Petco where they were done, and they can provide them for you. You can also make appointments with them to get her care done there. I hope this helps :-)

You will need to contact the veterinary office who gave the vaccines. Some have access to records online but others only have a paper copy. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

If you need proof of vaccination, you should contact the clinic that saw your pet directly. They may have sent information about each visit that your puppy has been to at the clinic to your email. If you need documentation- visit the clinic that examined and vaccinated your puppy. Thank you

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am sorry you are having so much trouble getting your records. I recommend finding a new Vet and having them scan Spring for the microchip number. They can write it down for you. As for the vaccines, I am not sure what advice I can give. Just be sure you are calling the correct Vet office where he was seen. You may have called the wrong one. Be sure he isn't under a different name or spelling or a different last name. If you can't get his health records then boost his vaccines and start over, it won't hurt him. I hope this helps and I wish you and Spring the best!
