How can I tell the age of my adult rescue dog who had puppies?

It is only possible to evaluate the age of a puppy up to the age of 6 weeks, this is done according to the teeth (canines teeth grow at the age of 4 weeks, molars at 6 weeks). after that age it is usually a pure educated guess.

We cannot tell you how old the dog is just by looking at a photo. All I can tell you is that if he has all his adult teeth then he is at least 6 months old. At her age, she should no longer be having puppies. It is to much of a strain on an older dog. That does not mean, however, that she couldn't get bred by a male! I would consider having her spayed for safety as well as her general health.

It is impossible to age a pup from pictures, especially without any indication of breed etc. Your vet ir vet nurse may be able to provide some indication from a dental exam as teething is quite predictable in the majority of dogs. Sight and balance would not be expected to be fully developed by 8 weeks

She looks like she could be 3-4 months old. Look at her teeth. At around 4 months of age she should start losing baby teeth. She may be a Malinois, but is difficult to determine by one image. A reputable breeder will provide paperwork, pedigree, vaccine history, etc. Your veterinarian should be able to make a determination of age and breed after a physical exam. She has to be examined anyway to get her vaccines.

I am not able to tell from the picture how old your puppy is. The best way to get an accurate age estimate is to have a veterinarian evaluate the puppy.
