My rescue Pomeranian's age is unknown. Can she still get pregnant?

Fertility doesn't decrease with age, but it's never recommend to breed a dog over 5-6 years of age. Because your Yorkie could become sexually mature any day now, I would keep him separated from Forest in case she goes into heat before getting spayed in April. Hi, I think 8 years old it's far too old for a dog to breed. If she should get pregnant she is at risk of complications during pregnancy and likelihood of having puppies with malformations. A bit like having a babies when you are in your seventies.
