Is tea tree oil toxic to dogs? My dog is throwing up and has diarrhea.

As long as Tea is feeling fine I'm not overly concerned. Puppies get into lots of things so a day of vomiting and diarrhea can be ok. I'd cut back his food for today, make sure he has water and let him rest like you are doing. If he's not better in the morning then take him right in for an exam. Since he's so small and young if he doesn't improve quickly then treatment is needed so he doesn't get worse. They'll check a fecal sample for intestinal parasites, give medication for the vomiting and diarrhea, and if they feel it's a serious problem they may also do a blood panel, parvovirus test or X-ray. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Poor Bobby sounds like he is feeling unwell! I would avoid giving him tea as well, especially if it has milk in it. Dairy causes GI upset in dogs, and it may be making his vomiting worse. The only liquid he needs, even when sick, is water. He could be suffering from a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a foreign body. It's a good idea that you have kept him off food since, and if he has been off food for 24 hours, feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Poor guy. It sounds like Minus has a pretty severe case of gastroenteritis, which is likely due to the unwanted food he ate. He is in desperate need of some antibiotics and probiotics prescribed by your vet. You can give him 1-2 tsp of canned pumpkin tonight and start some over the counter Culturelle probiotics from your local pharmacy, as well as a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or lean ground turkey and rice; however, it is best to take him in to your vet for antibiotics as well to complete his treatment. In looking up this plant, I can't find any information that they are toxic to dogs, but it is possible that eating it upset her stomach. Given that Roxy isn't acting any differently and is eating, I wouldn't be too worried about her just yet. I would be more worried if she having persistent diarrhea, is vomiting frequently, and isn't eating or drinking. You can try offering her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. Should she return to normal (i.e. no vomiting or diarrhea), then she will be just fine. I would have her seen by a vet, however, if she starts vomiting more or having persistent diarrhea, or she stops eating and drinking. I hope this helps!

Neem oil itself is not toxic, but it could upset her tummy if ingested. I would starve her the rest of the day and if the vomitting continues take her to the vet. It would take really help much with her allergies, you could try antihistamine medication, otherwise, it is case of taking her to the vet and getting medication such as apoquel.
