My puppy bites too much when playing. How can I train him to stop?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 45 lbs

Hello, my dogs name is Otis he is 7 months. He is a German shepard/ boxer mix. He is very playful and loveable but he bites to much when playing with myself or my kids. Not to hard but I would like tips on how to stop it

Otis is adorable!

I would actually recommend a trainer for him. They will be able to work with you and him to stop this behavior. in the mean time when he starts to nip then I would recommend stopping all play until he has calmed down.

    Taking away attention is probably the most useful. Stand up and walk away if he starts. If he chases you then pick him up without any conversation and put him in a quiet dark room by himself. Just for a few minutes while he calms down. Repetition is important. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
