How can I make my 4-month-old Siberian husky puppy's coat smooth?

He looks like a handsome boy! Its hard to appreciate the character of his haircoat based on picture, but it does look full, though he doesn't seem to have a thick undercoat. I see you are in Belize; if you are in a warm climate, he isn't going to get that very thick coat, as that would increase the chances of him overheating. A Husky will typically shed or "blow" the undercoat twice a year. The shedding you are seeing is likely normal if you are going through a change of seasons. Brush her daily to prevent matting. There is nothing you can do to make the coat grow faster. A fish oil supplement may promote healthier skin and coat.

She is just too young at the moment but with time if fed a proper complete puppy diet, it will happen as she continues to grow. Not all pup's hair growth is the same which is probably why her coat is not as long as her siblings. If at any point, she develops any itchiness then have her evaluated by your veterinarian to ensure there is not any underlying skin condition. Good luck!

In general, using a high quality brand is the best way to assure that Bear Bear's coat is healthy. Brands that I typically recommend include Science Diet, Purina ProPlan and Royal Canin because these companies conduct extensive clinical studies and analyses regarding their foods and source ingredients appropriately. Continue feeding Bear Bear puppy food until he is 1 year old, then gradually transition to an adult dog food. Anytime you make a diet change, be sure to do so by gradually mixing old and new foods together over 5-7 days. Bathing every 2-4 weeks in a gentle oatmeal based dog shampoo can also be beneficial. If he seems to have dry skin, an omega 3 fatty acid supplement (such as Welactin) can be beneficial. Also, make sure that he is receiving a high quality flea and tick preventative (such as Nexgard, Bravecto or Advantix) regularly.

Hi, there is nothing you can do to aid or speed up growth apart from making sure that you feed him an appropriate good quality diet. You can supplement his food with a omega 3-6 supplement to aid skin integrity and a healthy coat. You could give Chicago a fish oil supplement, but I would speak to your vet regarding which one would be better considering the diet he is on and his age and weight. Hope this helps !
