Which dry food is best for my Siberian Husky: Royal Canin or Proplan?

Hello. I live in Iran and majority of great dog dry food aren't here . I want you to help me which brand is the best for my Siberian husky. Royal canin/ N & D/ Belcando/ BEWI dog/ Proplan?

I am a fan of Royal Canin foods because a lot of research goes into their food development and I have come to trust their products. I also like Purina Proplan. I am unfortunately not familiar with either of the other foods. For a Siberian Husky, I be sure to choose a food that provides good conditioning for the skin and hair coat.

    There is no one "best" food for dogs. Every dog is individual, and what matters is that they like the food, they don't have diarrhea or excessive gas, and they don't have signs of allergies such as licking the paws, or scratching. It doesn't matter how "high-quality" a food is if your dog doesn't like it, or develops problems from the food. You can always try small bags to try them out, or just pick one. When switching between foods, I recommend mixing a small amount of the new food in with the old food, and increasing this over a few days. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! First of all, thanks for rescuing! As you have probably noted there are plenty of diets out there. I prefer the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Science Diet foods. Any of these would be great for her. Good luck!

Is Farmina N&D dry cat food healthier than Proplan for my cat?
Purina Proplan is one of the three highest quality foods I recommend to clients. The other two are Royal Canin and Hills. They follow veterinary nutritionist guidelines and current evidence based research. Gluten intolerance is extremely rare in pets and gluten content has no bearing on a food's quality. It is also important to not overfeed protein as it can harm the kidneys, so foods with higher meat content may not be better. I hope this helps.

Is there a cheaper dry dog food with similar quality to Royal Canin?

Is fresh dog food or commercial kibble better for a balanced diet?
I am so glad to help you! In my opinion, the best choice is a commercial kibble like Royal Canin. Royal Canin does have veterinary nutritionists on staff. I'd also recommend Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams. They also have veterinary nutritionists. I personally feed my dog Iams.

Congrats on your new puppy! Any of the Purina Pro-plan foods are good and they meet WSAVA guidelines for good nutrition. Just make sure to change your puppy slowly to the new food by adding a little bit more of it each day and a little less of the old food.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach! In my honest opinion, I am a big fan of Science Diet and Royal Canin as my go to recommended dog foods. Both brands offer very well balanced diets that have gone through extensive research.
