What's the best food for my Beagle: Purina Pro Plan or Royal Canin?

Any food that says "puppy" should be just fine. You can continue to feed wet, or you can use dry. If she prefers moist food, you could even add a little water to the dry food. All puppies that aren't large breeds can use the normal puppy food. Large breeds need different mineral percentages for their extra large bones. I am a fan of Royal Canin foods because a lot of research goes into their food development and I have come to trust their products. I also like Purina Proplan. I am unfortunately not familiar with either of the other foods. For a Siberian Husky, I be sure to choose a food that provides good conditioning for the skin and hair coat.

Purina ProPlan is just as good as Royal Canin and Science Diet, and the Purina you find in the grocery store is lower quality, but it's still the best of the supermarket brands. The reason it is lower quality is because it doesn't use the high quality ingredients, hence the lower price. I hope this helps!

I am sure that you have probably noticed that there are several different foods available in the market which does not make it any easier sometimes. I prefer any of the Purina pro Plan diets as they are highly nutritious and also very palatable. Also, I highly recommend the hill's Science Diet foods which are also great. Foods made by Purina are good, but ones like ProPlan have higher quality ingredients than say Alpo or Beneful. In my opinion, Purina is the best of the supermarket brands, so getting a food made by Purina whether it be Purina One or Beneful is fine. I hope this helps!

I am so glad to help you! In my opinion, the best choice is a commercial kibble like Royal Canin. Royal Canin does have veterinary nutritionists on staff. I'd also recommend Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams. They also have veterinary nutritionists. I personally feed my dog Iams.
