How to know if my dog is a Shih Tzu and Jack Russell Terrier mix?

What a cutie pie! A shorkie is certainly a possibility, as would be a cross with a maltese (morkie), a chihuahua (chorkie) or really any smaller breed dog. Or she could potentially be a chichuahua cross as they can have this color pattern as well. If you truly want to know her breed makeup you can do a genetic test. It’s difficult to say for sure but it looks like he may be part rat terrier or jack Russell terrier or some other type of terrier with pointed ears. He is really cute! Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure. You can do a DNA test but it isn’t 100% accurate and I did it on my dog just for fun.

Regardless of his breed, Bruno is adorable! :-) From the photos, he does not appear to be a purebred Pomeranian to me. My best guess would be a Pomeranian-Corgi-Jack Russell terrier mix. If you want to determine his breed with more precision, you can look into a DNA test, such as a Wisdom Panel.

Hi, it looks like these puppies could be Chihuahua x shih tzu. It is impossible to tell for sure 100% if they are just a cross between these breeds or if there is a small percentage of other breeds in there but there is definitely some chihuahua and some shih tzu as far as I can tell !
