my labradoodle is 7 years old. he is exhibiting limping in his front knees and now shoulder after fetching and chasing balls. it is fine when I take him for runs/walks. should I give him anti-inflammatory medication or start glucosamine? he has a vet appointment Monday.

Since you have an appointment on Monday I would suggest to just start glucosamine until then and rest him as much as possible. If you give the antinfiammatories the vet might not be able to fully appreciate the clinical signs fully so I would rather you did not give any for the week-end.
