My dog has chronic dry eye. We have scripts for him and eye lube, the whole bit. But he gets a dry crusty film on his eye ball with hair stuck in it. How can I get this off without hurting him?

Moistened cotton balls and make up applicators are good products to clean the eyes out. Many dogs with dry eye benefit from using a daily lubricating drop 3 to 4 times a day as well. I recommend to discuss adding this into the regiment with your veterinarian. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
