What are these growths on my puppy's testicles? Should I worry?

You can try to use chlorhexidine containing pads (such as the Douxo chlorhexidine 3% PS pads) to clean the are twice daily for 7 days. You may find these online or at your local pet store. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good day!

As this can be caused by a number of things (trauma, minor infections, irritation of the skin, etc), it's always a good idea to have a vet take a look in person when there is a sudden change on the skin, especially if the change is rapid, painful, or bothersome to Banks. In the meantime, it's a good idea to keep the area clean and dry, and continue to monitor it for any additional changes, or see if it resolves. If the spot continues to grow in size, is bothersome or painful, begins to ooze debris, becomes discolored, or doesn't resolve in a few days, a vet check is best to rule out more serious issues.

Ouchie. Poor guy. This appears to be a solitary pustule or even an abscess on his skin, which is often caused by a foreign body that was introduced underneath the skin. This can be viral related so it’s best to take him back to your vet on tomorrow to have this area clean and drained. He will also likely be placed on antibiotics to see if this resolves. If there is no resolve with antibiotics then a biopsy likely will be recommended to determine the underlying cause and course of treatment; however this will likely resolve with antibiotics. Waiting until tomorrow or Tuesday to have this looked at is perfectly acceptable, as long as he is still eating, drinking and has normal energy level. I hope that Rowdy’s skin lesions resolves soon! This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I'm wondering if your dog was neutered recently - it almost looks like there could be a scrotal incision and discharge in the center of the photo. Either way, the raised area looks like it could be a growth, tumor or abscess/infection and if he was not neutered recently the discharge is concerning. I would definitely recommend having your vet take a look.

From the pictures you have sent the "bump" appears to be a skin growth. There are several types off masses that can grow in the skin of dogs such as cysts, lipomas and some types of cancers. Some are benign and some are malignant, so careful observation is important, as well as having a vet examine it if you are concerned. Since you only just noticed the lump, and Doom is neutered, I would continue to monitor it for growth, ulceration, changes in texture or color. Measure the mass with a ruler so you can compare its growth in a couple weeks time. Rapidly growing masses are more concerning. If the mass has grown or changed in that time I would advise taking Doom to have the mass examined and analyzed. I hope that this answer was helpful and more importantly that Doom feels better soon.
