My puppy swallowed a necklace chain. Should I wait or see a vet?

It will be OK for you to wait until the morning and see how Charlie does overnight. Watch him closely for any vomiting and diarrhea. These are two symptoms of an intestinal blockage. Based on Charlie's size and the photo of the necklace you provided, I think that may pass without incident. Feed him as usual in the morning and see if he can keep the food down. If he does not want to eat then I would be concerned. If you end up taking him to the vet, x-rays can be performed to find the location of the necklace. I hope this helps. This is because hydrogen peroxide can and does cause gastritis and esophagitis, often worse than the initial problem. You can take her into an ER vet now, and they can safely induce vomiting with a shot. Otherwise, it may pass without problem, and you can watch her. If you see any vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, or lethargy, that is an indication there may be an obstruction from the anklet, and she will have to see a vet immediately. Since those pieces are small, it is safe to monitor for any GI signs such as vomiting and diarrhea, lethargy or a decreased appetite. There is a good change that can pass through and you will never notice a problem over the next 24-48 hours!

This should be pass through the intestine without causing major problems. I would recommend to monitor Coco for the next 48hours for any sign like lethargy, inappetence, vomiting or having diarrhoea. If that was the case a check up would be ideal.

Yes, she should see a vet ASAP and have an xray done, this way you will know for sure if she ingested it as well as where it is situated, if she indeed ingested it she will likely need to have a surgery done to have it removed.
