What's this spot on my 6-month-old puppy's stomach? Should I worry?

I think it would be worthwhile having her evaluated to make sure that it does indeed look like a nipple and to ensure it is not something else like a mass or nodule. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, having an extra, out of place nipple can be normal and isn't a health concern. If the nipple itself is a little larger I wouldn't worry but if the surround tissue is swollen I would have your Vet check it out the next time she is in to ave her vaccines. I hope this helps!

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. The picture isn't the greatest quality so I hope I am seeing what you are seeing. The black at the ends of the nipples are normal and not of a concern, as is a little bit of a different colour near the belly button region. If there is a bump that is sore, swollen, red or hot where the belly button is and it is discoloured, this is not normal and very concerning, but this doesn't appear the be the case in the picture. It may be an allergy to something specific in the environment or something else like fleas or food. This may go away on its own if it is something minor.
