Hi! My two year old dog has a red area on her belly/upper thigh. It keeps getting bigger but it doesn't seem to bother her one bit. It's quite humid and hot out but she's inside most of the time where it's cool. She has a vet appointment in a few weeks for an unrelated issue but I'm wondering if I should take her in before that day to have this treated. Any ideas what it could be and if I need to worry?

It looks as if Roxie has a pretty significant skin infection on her belly. This can be pretty common in young puppies. She will most likely need antibiotics to help clear up the infection.
Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
