Puppy has tiny red mark on chest/belly, not bleeding. What is it?

If you can rest her and keep the area clean, then the neosporin is a good option to see if it will scab over or dry up. If it continues to bleed or gets larger then you have to make a visit to the vet.

This is most likely just an abrasion that your dog got from going up the tree. If the area is hot and/or swollen it may be infected and you would need to take your dog to the vet to get some antibiotics to help it clear up. If you do not think it is swollen you can try cleaning it daily with some dilute hydrogen peroxide and applying some antibiotic ointment on it. For Max! That looks a little irritated. He could have an infection or it could be some type of mass. The best thing would be to have your veterinarian take a look at it to determine the exact cause and the best way to treat. He may need an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory. If you can't take him to a vet, then you could bathe him with a medicated dog shampoo and apply an antibiotic cream and see if it resolves.

It looks like a hot spot which is similar to human ezcema. Usually it is treated with cleaning, steroids and antibiotics. If you can't get to a vet most importantly stop him licking it, make a collar. Keep it clean with chlorhexidine or iodine then pat dry. If you have a cream such as hydrocortisone you can apply it daily. If it is not improving or spreading, which may occur, you will have to head to the vet

Those red spots on Koko's chest could be there for many reasons, fleas included. I would recommend to start him on a good flea prevention like Simparica. If the scabs don't go away, then have him checked for skin mites. At home you can wash the area with an antibacterial soap once a day. I hope this helps!

I am sorry to hear about Tonka! It is hard to evaluate the bump based on this photo, as it is a little blurry and there is no way for us to know the size of what we are looking at. If the red area is large/very raised, like the size of a nickel or raised more than 1/4 cm then I would be more suspicious that we have a small tumor of the skin (we can have both benign and malignant skin tumors). If the area is smaller and not bothering him, you can try washing with a mild soap and applying a topical antibiotic like neosporin 2-3 times a day. If the lesions isn't resolving by the end of the week or if it is more mass-like as I described earlier, then a vet exam would be recommended.

Poor girl. This almost looks like a superficial bite mark possibly?? and the redness is a bit concerning. Even if it isn't bothering her, I would still recommend taking Remi to your vet to get this checked out. There is a scab there so it is trying to heal but the bite looking marking should be evaluated further. You can also try cleaning it with betadine diluted 50:50 with warm water, let it dry, then place a very small amount of Neosporin on it (nothing too goopy that she can lick off) until you can get her looked at.
