My puppy has a bump on his belly that I’m not sure what it is.

In the picture, it appears that the affected skin is bumpy and then there is quite a bit of redness around the edge. It’s possible that it could be a wart-like growth, but because of the amount of inflammation (causing the redness) going on, I would recommend taking Mac to the vet for a closer look. The vet will also look closely at all of Mac’s other skin (and mouth and other mucous membranes) to see if there are any other affected areas. They may be able to diagnose or have a better guess as to what’s going on, and discuss treatment options if any need to happen. Until he sees the vet, it would be helpful to have him wear an e-collar/cone so he can’t lick the area anymore. Licking will increase the inflammation and can skew how the vet evaluates the area. My dog has red inflamed bumps on her stomach. When should I see a vet?

I'm wondering if the 'pimple' in the first picture is potentially part of her spay scar and a suture reaction if she was recently adopted and spayed. You may be able to feel some 'firm' tissue beneath this area if that is the case. It's also possible that this is a small skin mass that has become infected. Dogs can develop milia, but milia are most commonly seen when there is excess cortisol due to a disease like Cushing's. The milia do not typically require treatment but the underlying disease does. Cushing's is common in middle aged to older dogs and other signs include increased thirst, hunger and urination. I think it would be a good idea to have a veterinarian examine her skin to make sure treatment for an infection isn't necessary, and to discuss testing for Cushing's disease if she is showing any other signs.

I would highly recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. What's this big white and purple bump on my puppy's hairless belly?

It's likely an infection under the skin. This happens more commonly in puppies and can be treated effectively by a veterinarian. It's also possible that this is a benign growth, but much less likely. It's best to have a veterinarian examine her, because this may need to be drained. It's also possible that something is stuck under the skin, which is causing the inflammation and infection. For now it's best to hold a warm compress over the bump for 15 minutes twice a day. Do this by soaking a cloth in warm salt water and applying it the the bump. Avoid pressing or poking the bump. My puppy has a green bump on her belly. Should I be concerned?

Most likely this is a mild skin infection (bacterial) and the green bump could be a small pustule. Puppies commonly get little skin infections on the belly area. You can try cleansing it with a mild soap (i.e. Dove) and warm water, letting it dry, and applying Neosporin to it twice a day. Sometimes the pets immune system and conservative treatment like this is enough to get it to resolve. However if it starts to get worse or starts to spread then it is best to get puppy seen by your vet for further investigation of the area and perhaps oral antibiotics or stronger topical antibiotic sprays to use on the area to get it heal.
