Puppy pooping many long worms after medicine, is a vet visit urgent?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 23 days old | 8 lbs

My 10 week old puppy is pooping nothing but round worms about 15 of them at a time and about 4 inches long!!!! Help! I gave her some medicine for worms is that mean it's helping or she need to go to the vet?

Hi there. If the parasite load is so high you are seeing them in large quantities like this-it's time to go to the vet. These parasites can deplete a young puppy's immune system quickly, and is overall upsetting to the gi system. I recommend taking her as soon as you can. I hope this helps
