My puppy's peeing inside after new medication. Is this normal?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 6 months and 8 days old | 25 lbs

My puppy is fully potty trained, but lately she has lost complete control of the bladder control on new medication. The medicines dont list a side effect like this one though.

Please provide some more information on the medications she is on. Incontinence is quite common in females and can be treated medically once complicating factors such as inflammation, infection and stones are ruled out
