When can I stop worrying about my puppy catching parvo after shots?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 15 lbs

I have a lab she is about 14weeks old..I'm honestly just wondering when I can stop being so spazzy over her catching parvo it's one of my biggest worries she's got her first set of shots and is due for the next set next Friday. She's been in our house for two weeks and the worse that's happened is a little while ago she threw up some hair and dog food and what my boyfriend thinks was a worm

Raven is a cutie! It sounds like you are taking the appropriate precautions which is good. Her final set of vaccines will happen between 16 - 18 weeks of age. At her next appointment, discuss the vaccine schedule with her doctor. Vaccines take about a week to take effect and she will not be fully protected until after the last set.
Collect the vomit in a baggie and call the vet tomorrow. They may want to see her or they may recommend and drop it off to have them examine it. Puppies can vomit up rounds worms which dewormers are highly effective against. I hope this helps!

I would recommend to test Luna again for Parvo but hopefully it is giardia, worms or bacterial over growth. Luna's vaccines do give her protection but she will need 1 more round done 2-4 weeks after the last vaccine. We finish the vaccine series at 4 months old as that is when the puppy's immune system is fully mature. Get her in to the vet today and have her checked. Best of luck. I hope this is helpful. My puppy got her third parvo shot, then was exposed. Is she safe?

The risk is probably pretty low, but Lucy may not have full immunity for a couple of weeks after this last vaccine was administered. We booster this vaccine frequently to hopefully catch a dog during the window where antibody leftover from mom is declining and the puppy can make it's own immune response - this may have already happened, or she may be in the process of mounting this immune response now. If Lucy seems nauseous, if she is vomiting, or if her appetite is decreased I'd recommend seeing your vet right away.

My dog had parvo. When can she get vaccines and be dewormed?

If Pixie is eating and drinking properly without vomitng and has no more diarrhea then you can worm her about a week after the last diarrhea. I would still wait a few weeks before vaccination as you want a fully recovered immune system in order to get a perfect immune response. So give it 2 weeks or so.

First of all regarding the worms and fleas, a food quality treatment for worms and for fleas will get rid of both within 24 hours, so make sure you use a high quality product. she is too young to get her parvo (and other) shot, you need to wait until she is 8 weeks old. she then will need 2-3 shots 2-4 weeks apart t o complete the vaccination course.

Why is my unvaccinated puppy vomiting and skinny after deworming?

I would be worried about parvo with those symptoms or a bacterial infection. If it is parvo, he was exposed and incubating the virus before the vaccine so it was not protective. The best thing to do is feed boiled chicken and rice and try to keep him hydrated with pedialyte or Gatorade. I would try to find an ER clinic or a vet that takes after hours calls to get him seen today for a test and further treatment
