My 7-week-old puppy is not moving, neck back. Is it dying or injured?

I am so sorry! If the dog is unconscious there is a good chance there has been fatal injuries and without medical attention nothing can be done. If you cannot take him to a vet, I would just keep him quiet and still. You can try to support him by syringe feeding him food and water to ensure he gets nutrition. Do not give him any human pain meds as most are toxic to dogs. You can ice the area for 10 minutes three times per day for a couple of days then use a warm compress if he is doing better. If there is an open wound you can put Neosporin on it twice a day and try not to let him scratch at it. Just know without medical attention he may pass away on his own if the injuries are severe. Without me seeing it, there isn't much I can advise. There isn't any good home remedies for severe neck or spinal injuries. I am sorry and I hope he starts to feel better!

yes, any possible head/neck injury is always concerning and non weight bearing lameness combined with the poor balance causing him to fall over are all red flags for a possible serious fracture. Please have him fully assessed buy a vet urgently, it is possible he will require xrays to rule out broken bones

I'm worried that Ivy has hurt her neck from being scruffed. This could be something like the skin got pulled away from the underlying soft tissue or it could be related to an injury to the vertebra or discs. Unfortunately, that's hard to know since Ivy can't talk. I recommend to have Ivy examined today. Not being able to lift her head indicates a lot of pain or even nerve damage. The vet will need to conduct a physical exam to begin figuring things out. The vet likely has COVID protocols in place so call ahead and find out when they want you to arrive. You will need to follow their instructions. Until Ivy is examined by the veterinarian, she needs STRICT rest so no walks, running, jumping, plying or stairs. Crate rest is best. A warm (not hot) compress applied for 5 minutes every 2 hours may also help. be very gentle when handling her. I hope this helps.

If the pup is nursing and acting normal he should be fine. Puppies are very flexible and usually heal quickly with injuries. If he's not eating or acting different from the rest then he may have a more serious injury. Your veterinarian will examine the pup and may give an anti inflammatory injection to reduce the swelling especially if there is a neurological problem. In the meantime you can put a cold pack on the area to reduce the swelling. There is not much else to do. Even if it seems bad as long as you keep the pup fed and warm he should improve with minimal treatment. Yes, I think he’ll be fine. Luckily puppies are very resilient and many minor injuries heal quickly in young animals. If there was a serious head injury he would be lethargic, not responsive or not eat or drink normally. He may have some discomfort on his head for a day or so but probably no lasting issues.
