Why is my 10-month-old Lab puppy not eating, weak, and losing weight?

If Chase is very weak, can barely walk, and hasn't eaten for three days now, this is a medical emergency and he has to see a vet immediately. There is nothing you can do for him at home, he needs to be seen by a vet to diagnose what is causing his symptoms so he can be treated. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

I do not think him being neutered 6 months ago has anything to do with a poor appetite and lethargy. the heat can make dogs slow down but it doesn't make Labs not eat! Labs love food. I am worried and recommend you have him seen by your Vet for an exam, blood work and belly X-rays. Possible causes are: kidney problems secondary to Lyme disease (huge issue in US with labs, even young ones), ate something causing a blockage, cancer and many other things. I would take him in since it has been a few weeks. I wish you the best!

Lethargy, trouble walking, not eating/pooping are all signs of weakness and being generally unwell. This can be due to many causes however for a dog that is 2 years old I would be concerned about things such as fungal disease, parasite disease, heartworm, Addison's disease, or sometimes it can be more simple like an abscess. The wheezing is concerning that he has trouble in his lungs or heart, so heartworm is a concern. The squishy lump could be an abscess (pus filled pocket) and this could cause all the signs you are seeing as well. Either way, I recommend you get him to a vet right away, even a simple thing such as an abscess, which is fixed fairly easily, can be fatal if not treated in time. Best of luck with Champ! At 2 months of age, this has me worried that he may be battling an infection such as Parvo virus. He may also be dehydrated if he is weak and is likely in need of fluid therapy for rehydration. I would recommend having him examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I would have him parvo tested and have his blood tested to see if there are any other abnormalities. Subcutaneous fluids would certainly help him feel better and he may be so dehydrated the IV fluids may be the best option for him. It is difficult to say without examining him to see how severe he is. I hope this helps! I would recommend experimenting with different dog food formulas, texture, kibble size, dry vs. canned, etc. and see if this helps. Prolonged inappaetance in a puppy is a serious concern and can rapdily lead to weight loss and nutritional problems. Please schedule a full health check with your vet to identify the underlying cause and start treatment as appropriate.

As long as Jacky is not sick and is otherwise normal, I would recommend switching to a different food altogether and consider canned food as well.
