Why is my new 6-week-old puppy not eating, skinny, and inactive?

If this pup is really two weeks old, and won't suck from the bottle or suck from mom, she may be very ill and needs to see a veterinarian right away. She may have some kind of infectious disease which requires testing and treatment for her to get better. She looks dehydrated in this picture, and that happens very quickly when puppies stop nursing. Please seek help as soon as possible.

Sometimes puppies can have a slight decrease in appetite when they first come home since it is a big adjustment, however it sounds like you've had her a few days. Given her age and her breed I'd recommend seeing a veterinarian to make sure she doesn't have low blood sugar, parasites, or another medical problem affecting her appetite. If she also seems weak, lethargic or disoriented you should see an emergency veterinarian as soon as possible. She is adorable!

Being such a young puppy, it will be easy for his blood sugar to drop too low from not eating. It's very concerning when a young puppy won't eat, and it could be caused by a serious illness, such as parvovirus, distemper, intestinal worms, infection, or injury among other causes. Poor pup! It definitely sounds like something is wrong. There are many things that can cause dogs to lose weight, not eat or drink, and not want to move, so it's hard to say what might be wrong without being able to examine him and run some tests. He may have an infectious disease such as parvo, a systemic illness like liver or kidney disease, or may have ingested something toxic. This does sound quite serious, so I would recommend taking Boy to the vet for an exam as soon as possible. He/she can do blood work and x-rays if needed to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment.

Dixie is absolutely adorable! I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian. It is very concerning that she is barely eating and is not as active as a puppy should be.
