My new puppy has no vaccine records. Should I get her vaccinated?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 27 days old | 5 lbs

I got my dog about a week ago at a park and she’s about 6-7 weeks old and they said she got her vaccinations already but they didn’t give me any paperwork, so what do I do? Get her re-vaccinated? Or?

At that age your puppy would have had only one course of vaccinations. As they did not give you paper work I would assume that your puppy was not vaccinated and start with the first course again. You should take Koko to your vet for a wellness exam, worming and vaccinations. She will need three courses of vaccinations to be protected.
