My new puppy has no vaccine records. Should I get her vaccinated?

You should start as if she was a puppy, she will need a full vaccination course (2-3 vaccinations 4 weeks apart). you should also get her dewormed and treated for fleas. make an apointment with your local vet in order to start the process ASAP.

Ask the previous owner for the name of the veterinary practice where your dog was vaccinated. The practice should have the details and then can tell you which vaccines are due when. If he cannot tell you, then you should assume the dog never got any vaccinations. It would then be best to take him to a vet and start a course of core vaccines (basic immunizations(distemper/parvo, etc., at least 2 courses three weeks apart) as well as a rabies vaccination and a basic health check to make sure Coby is healthy.

Yes, you need to take Dandy to a vet and let them know that you just got him but did not receive any vaccine records. . They will get him started on his vaccines and likely give him a deworming. They will talk to you about what else he may need like heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, etc depending on what is prevalent in your area. If possible, get Willow's history from the person, shop or shelter you acquired her from. If she has no history, it is likely she has not had any vaccines. Have her examined by your veterinarian to confirm good health and to discuss an appropriate vaccine protocol, deworming and heartworm/parasite prevention.

Congratulations on adding Coco to your family! Coco's basic vaccines will be distemper/parvo, rabies and bordetella. Depending on where you live Leptospirosis and Lyme vaccines may also be indicated. Coco will need 3-4 rounds of vaccines depending on her age when the series is started. The series will end when Coco is 16-18 weeks of age. You can have your friend contact the vet they took Bella to for her vaccines, and get copies that way. If they won't do that, it would be safe to assume they didn't get her vaccines. In this case, you will have to take her into a vet to start her vaccines schedule. I hope this helps!

Hello there! You don't need to re-do their vaccines, but you should get Kaida in to complete the series as soon as possible. When the shelter said she had all her vaccines, they probably meant all her vaccines for her age.
