Hello. It is best to have this puppy examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible to check & treat for any intestinal parasites & any possible coat or skin issues such as mange, fleas & ticks. The veterinarian can guestimate the puppies age & recommend the vaccinations that are appropriate to the puppies age & what diseases are present in your area. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Max is very cute! If we do not know his vaccine status, the Vet will assume he hasn't had any. It is best to be safe than sorry and it will not hurt him. He should get a Rabies vaccine and two DHPP vaccines 3-4 weeks apart. Both will be good for 1 year. Bring a stool sample and the Vet will also heartworm test him so you can start prevention. You can also discuss setting up his neuter if you plan on fixing him. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It's not terrible but we like puppies to be dewormed a few times by 8 weeks as well ideally received their first vaccine. We start vaccinations around 7-8 weeks. I would take the puppy to your Vet once you get her and be sure you have an agreement with the breeder if they find anything wrong with her. She will her first DHPP and be dewormed. Bring a stool sample. Everything will be fine! Congratulations!

Booster vaccines for puppies should be given 3-4 weeks apart so his vaccine booster can be given anywhere from July 6 to the 13th. So, I think you are fine taking him 5 days from now. I would recommend getting his vaccinations redone if there is no proof. It will not harm him and this will ensure he is fully protected. It is just too risky to assume he is protected with no proof. He will need the DHLPP and Bordetella. He will then need 1 booster done in 3 weeks and that will fully protect him for a year. I hope that your newly adopted pet Tanner does well moving forward.
