Puppy jumped high fence, no yelp, still playing. Is he injured?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! She should be fine! Especially since she didn't cry, isn't limiting and is acting fine. Sometimes they will feel sore the next day. So I would watch for limping, stiffness or lethargy. But I would be surprised if she shows any symptoms. Good luck!

If he is otherwise doing well without limping, I think it would be ok to monitor him for now. However, if he develops a limp or any other signs such as crying in pain, inappetence or continued lethargy, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Leo! I am so glad he is walking normally now, that is very good news! He probably just hit his leg hard when he fell. The fact he is walking normally now likely means nothing is broken. I would rest him for 2-3 days. If the limping returns take him to the vet, otherwise he should be fine! Hello. As long as Killian is back to normal, with no limping or swelling, then he does not need to see a veterinarian. He probably just had a minor sprain, but this might be a warning to go easy on letting Killian jump so high. He is a big dog & coming down abnormally on a leg could certainly lead to a ruptured or torn ACL. Just have him take it easy for the next few days. Unfortunately it is difficult to say for sure what the main problem is without seeing Mona myself. This certainly could be a fractured bone from an injury or this could be a soft tissue injury. If you are unable to get to the veterinarian right away, I would recommend resting Mona and giving her Well & Good Buffered Aspirin from Petco and see how she does. If the lameness does not resolve or it worsens, I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made.
